FLUNK

PRIVACY

Flunk is an online trivia game. This page explains what the game stores about you.

Playing as a guest

Your browser gets a random identifier, saved in your browser's local storage, so the server can keep your rank points. Your name and that identifier are stored in your browser. The server stores only a scrambled (hashed) copy of the identifier and your points, wins and games.

Signing in with Google

If you sign in, Google tells the game your Google account ID and your first name. The server stores the account ID with your points, wins and games, plus a login session. Your first name is only used to fill in your student name; it is not saved on the server. We do not store your email address, photo or full name.

During a game

Your network (IP) address is used while you are connected to apply anti-cheat limits. It is not saved after you disconnect.

Cookies, ads and sharing

Flunk does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not sell or share your data. If that changes, this page will be updated and you will be asked for consent first.

Deleting your data

Signed-in players can delete their account and all its stats with "Delete account" on the main screen. Guests can clear their data by clearing this site's storage in their browser.
